Attendance: 4 teams did not show

Still going to try to put together a list of offerings. Should we run out of time to get Prizes, money has been suggested as the preferred year end gift.
Season Champion Prize Money
Instead of jackets, it has been suggested that the money be donated to a charity of the winning team's choice
Playoffs
We will be using the app
We will need to keep track of innings like in the regular season – this is to avoid programming changes. It will be set up to stop when one team reaches 3 points
It has been voted on that the rule is to be updated to - players must be present at playoff games in order to be used in the team's line-up
Team 15
Has been late turning in money 12 times
Normally this would disqualify them from Playoffs. However, the Captains present have voted to allow them to play, but only if they pay on time all remaining games of the regular season and their winning will be donated to a charity of their choice.
Trophies
The Captains present have voted that we start fresh, no need to update the trophies for the last 5 years

We are going paperless! scoresheets will be available for you to download and print yourself. Should you need, the league will print sheets for you. this can be updated via your team's settings page.
Handicaps are based on the average of your last 70 games

Season and Playoff Payout Structure
We payout the top 16 teams – this was 50% when we had 32 teams and 40% when we were at 40 teams. It now represents 80% of 20 teams
Do we continue or change this?
Do we want to continue paying all brackets the same or do we want to change it so that higher brackets get more (we use to do this years ago)

Hello BPPL Members,
As noted in the captains meeting held on February 26, 2025;
We are very pleased to inform you that starting immediately, we will no longer be providing paper scoresheets, standings or any other form of paper communication. All correspondence will now be distributed to you via the application and/or email.
We are really excited about this initiative. This positive change will ensure everyone is informed in the quickest possible way. This will also reduce our operational costs and help us to improve our carbon footprint.
The App will continue to generate scoresheets for you to view, download or print if you so choose. Should you not have the means to print your own scoresheets and would like the league to provide them for you, you may opt-in under your team settings and they will be printed and delivered to Sharkey's as before.

BPPL has been hit hard this weekend with a sudden passing of one of our own, David Mckinnon.
David has been a part of our bppl family since 2017 where he played for Knights teams, most recently for the Knight Hawks.
Dave will be deeply missed by all and our thoughts and prayers go out to Suzanne and his children.

I have added the week over week standings to the member services dashboard so you are able to now view it.
*** as a side note, week 7 flagged 28 of the 35 games, there are still a number of discrepancies between the data received. the numbers are improving as there were only about 95 individual flags. I ask that you communicate with each other verify data.
